Slat chain is known as Top Chain as well. In these chains, objects are carried on top surface of chain. In slat chain there is no requirement of lubrication; it’s very low in maintenance and offers a higher maximum allowable load. Straight Running Chain mostly available in Single Hinge. Single Hinge Chain is used to convey light object, like: baked items, bottles, small cans, small tins & etc. Double Hinge Chain is used to convey heavy object, like: heavy jars, cans, tins & etc. It’s manufacturing from 3.25” to 7.5” width in Single Hinge & 7.5” width in Double Hinge from SS 430, SS304/316 & as per customer required material if possible.
Sideflexing Slat Chain is generally used where bends (radius) & loops are required on conveyor system. It’s manufacturing in 3.25”, 4.5” & 7.5” width in Single Hinge only from SS 430, SS304/316 & as per customer required material if possible.
In Straight Running Top Plate Chains top plates are attached to base chain. Base chains (transmission roller chain or double pitch roller chain) are fitted with K1 attachment on every outer link or every link both sides & top plates are riveted or welded on it. Straight Running Top Plate Chains are manufacturing from Alloy Steel, SS 304/316 & as per customer requirement of various application & environments. Standard sprocket of base chain can be used for Straight Running Top Plate Chains.
